Dr. David Schumer
Dr. Schumer has been providing his patients with exceptional, humorous care for more than 35 years. Known as the jokester of our office, he welcomes you to our practice in his own words:
"I have been a doctor since 1988. Yes, I know, quite a long time. I have worked in community clinics, residency training programs, and in bigger organizations. The best job I have ever had is this one. We have been open since 2003. We have a big, friendly dog who greets you and smells you at the door. Our staff is warm and caring and I am exceptionally funny. You will be laughing at something ridiculous that I said on the way out.
Maria and Modeline are the two best caregivers I have ever worked with and all I have to do is to take them to the Mexican restaurant across the street once a month for taco Tuesday.

Modeline Jules, ARNP, FNP-C
Modeline Jules graduated with honors from Simmons University School of Nursing in 2018 with a Master’s of Science in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner focusing on family practice. Prior to her graduate studies, she was a bedside nurse in a medical and surgical unit at a local hospital in Washington state, where she served as a charge nurse and preceptor for four years.
Modeline’s philosophy of care is partnering with patients and families to provide inclusive, compassionate, high-quality, evidence-based, culturally competent, and individualized care. She promotes a friendly and welcoming environment that is built on trust and active listening.
Modeline is a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the ARNPs United of Washington State.
Outside of work, Modeline enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, and listening to music.

With over 18 years of experience in clinical and administrative settings, I am a dedicated Medical Assistant specializing in vaccine administration. My compassionate approach and strong communication skills allow me to build trusting relationships with patients. I am proficient in administering vaccines, performing blood draws, and assisting physicians and ARNPs with minor procedures.
